A word on self-love…caring for ourselves has negative connotations or somehow is something we would do once in a blue moon, rather than an essential part of our lives. Or it can sound kind of cheesy and new age - rather than a timeless, integral part of our

We care for those we love and help them be their best selves. We show them compassion and understanding, give the honest feedback, and believe in them. It follows that when we anchor is self-love (not narcissistic self-aggrandizing, but authentic unconditional positive regard), we will care for ourselves as kindly as we care for others.  We will show ourselves compassion, challenge ourselves to grow, and put ourselves on a path to be our best selves.
